Your initial visit to our clinic
The clinic is comfortable, easy to access with plenty of parking in Chatswood Chase, so please come on in. Whatever your reason for seeking chiropractic care, your trust is appreciated. Your first visit allows us to get to know each other and for you to express your health goals.
Once you are in the door
After saying hello and showing you around, there will be a small amount of paper work to fill out. After the paper work is finished a medical history will be taken, and you can discuss with the chiropractor what brought you to the clinic and what your goals are. Next is an examination, looking at your posture, mobility of your spine and other joints, muscle testing, orthopaedic and neurological testing. This will give the chiropractor an idea how well your body functions, and relate this to any concerns you have or a diagnosis during the history.
Treatment
You are eager to see what chiropractic can do, and we are eager to show you how good you can feel. Yes you will receive a treatment on the first visit. Treatments are specific to your needs, the treatment page gives examples of treatment options. There are a variety of treatment types to allow more specificity, and hopefully make you feel more comfortable and relaxed.
By the way
You do not need x-rays to visit us, but if you have them please bring them in.
No doctor’s referral is needed and you can make an appointment whenever you like.
